If parenting feels heavy right now, you're in the right place.
Parenting can feel relentless. Many parents find themselves constantly responding to emotions, managing daily demands, navigating routines, and carrying the responsibility of keeping everything and everyone moving. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure how to support your family through everyday challenges, it can be hard to find space to pause or think clearly. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to manage it all on your own.
This service is designed to support parents. It offers a calm, thoughtful space to reflect, make sense of what’s feeling difficult, and develop practical ways forward that feel manageable and aligned with your family.
Grounded in evidence-based approaches from neuroscience, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and habit formation, Educate Therapy supports parents to build confidence, establish sustainable routines, and restore a greater sense of calm and connection at home, for both you and your children.
Hi, I'm Angela
Hi, I am a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience working alongside children, parents, and families in schools and community settings.
Across my work, I have spent many years listening to parents — hearing their worries, their exhaustion, and the quiet pressure they carry every day. Parenting can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be all-consuming. Many parents I have supported are doing everything they can, yet still feel overwhelmed, unsure, or emotionally depleted.
We are often very willing to seek support for our children, to advocate, research, attend appointments, and ensure they have what they need. Yet parents themselves are rarely offered the same care, space, or support, despite carrying so much responsibility.
I believe strongly in the importance of supporting parents, not just children. When parents have a space to be supported themselves, it becomes easier to think clearly, and support the other important people in our lives.
Educate Therapy was created to offer parents a warm, compassionate space focused on you. A place to pause, reflect, and feel supported — without judgment, expectations, or the need to have everything figured out.
If you’re feeling the weight of parenting and would benefit from some support, I invite you to book an appointment.
