Meet your facilitator, Angela

Angela has been working for the last 20 years as an Occupational Therapist and has been on a quest to see how we can focus on what is important by understanding how we think, how we learn and how we engage with the world around us.

But along the way she became distracted, she found it difficult to filter the noise of living a busy, successful fast-paced life. After sustaining a brain injury at 17 years old finding a way to work with a brain that was often tired or distracted became an obsession for Angela to help both kids and adults better understand what distracts them and how to create an environment that supported them to thrive.

She is the author of 2 books, "The Power of Conscious Choice" and "Switch Off. How to find calm in a noisy world" which both helped her to go deeper on how we can make better decisions about where we focus our attention to thrive. She is the host of "Distracted" the podcast that explores the age of distraction and helps listeners learn the important art of focus.

Her purpose is to help us learn the tools that allow us to stay connected to what is important to us despite the distractions that pull us off our course.
