About Angela

Technically my career started as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Newcastle but really my life as a business woman started when I was 7 with my chocolate making and coat hanger design business. I realised during this time I wasn't the best cook or very crafty so I dedicated my youth to sport, hockey to be specific. As a child I had my sights set on the Sydney Olympics, determined for this to happen. However, life had a different plan for me and after fracturing my skull during a game my experiences learning to talk again and re-think my approach to life inspired me to change my path to occupational therapy, propelling me into a career I feel was made for me.

I am equally at ease working with children as standing in front of a packed audience delivering a keynote. With a desire to help children have the best start in life, I have dedicated my adult life to being a peadiatric occupational therapist and advising people on how to bring the energy and focus they need to all they do, despite what challenges are thrown at them. My knack for creating success has allowed me to become the go-to person for industries including government, universities, hospitals, emergency services, health and wellbeing providers, banks, real estate institutes, not-for-profits and media outlets, and to fulfill roles such as CEO, keynote speaker, author, health and fitness instructor, trainer, motivator, mum and wife.

After the success of my first book The Power of Conscious Choice, a publication aimed at helping people to simplify the way they make decisions, I launched The Place for Health, an online hub that aims to educate health professionals and caregivers on how to prioritise their own mental and physical wellbeing. I also work with individuals and organsiations, host retreat events and conduct programs in schools to help people continue to live the life they choose with the energy needed to get them there.

As you will see through my social media and when meeting me I fully embrace the limitless power of simplification and positive energy. Practicing what I preach, I live on the beautiful coastline of Northern New South Wales with my husband and two gorgeous children and spend as much time as possible with my feet in the sand taking the time to look up and around, forever thankful.
